As a member of Miraculous Multiples, you can look forward to being a part of:

Monthly Meetings
The club meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm at the Home State Bank Building, located off of Route 14 on Main Street in Crystal Lake. We are in the basement of the two story facility. Each meeting includes time for socializing, snacking, a speaker or some kind of twin talk and general club business. We’d love to see you there!

Monthly Newsletter
The Club’s monthly newsletter is filled with information about our club’s current events along with information from our club members. Typical information: meeting minutes, poems, birth announcements, birthday wishes, new members, items for sale or wanted, playgroups, ideas/suggestions up for discussion, helpful tidbits, recipes, crafts etc. The deadline for the publication is the 25th of the month.

Library
Collection of books and magazines regarding multiples and child rearing in general is available for member use.

Meal Support Program
Another member’s benefit is the meal support program. While you are adapting to your new addition(s), let our clubs’ meal support team of volunteers bring you and your family several home cooked meals. This is also available for any family experiencing a loss or medical conditions.

Membership to State and National Organizations
Part of our club’s yearly dues goes toward membership to the state and national mothers of twins organizations. You can expect to receive newsletters from these two organizations and also information about their annual conventions.

PlayDates
PlayDates are held several times a month. Members are informed of PlayDates in the newsletter and on EVites through your email. This is a great opportunity for moms to chat with others who are experiencing some of the same development milestones. Activities may be going to the park, petting zoo, or to a pumpkin farm, a beach, or to a member’s home.

Moms Night Out/Couples Events
Just as it says, this is a night out just for us moms or with our significant other. An outing might be meeting at a local hangout or restaurant or going to a movie. Whatever it is, it’s just nice to be out!!

Spring and Fall Clothing Sales
Each Spring and Fall the club has a clothing and equipment sale that is held on a Friday for members and Saturday is open to the general public. It’s a great opportunity for members to clear out any baby and children items that are no longer needed. A minimal fee is charged which covers the cost of the advertisement and hall rental fees. Details of these sales are communicated at our meetings as well as in our newsletter.

Family Picnic
The Family picnic is always a lot of fun for the whole family! The picnic is held once a year in the Fall at a local park. The day is filled with fun activities for all ages.

Wine & Cheese Party
This party is held in place of one of our June monthly meeting, at one of our member’s homes. Members bring an appetizer or dessert and enjoy the evening of talking, eating and good conversation.

Holiday Dinner and Raffle
This is another event held in place of our Tuesday night meetings. At the dinner we raffle off items that have been donated to our club by local merchants. The money raised through the auction goes towards a family with multiples in need of assistance during the holiday season.

Dues
Our dues are $35.00 a year and pay for our monthly newsletter and memberships to state and national twin organizations.
